Abstract

Vertical alveolar bone defects can today treated by the application of no resorbable membranes accordingly with the guided bone regeneration technique. Even if this procedure is founded on predictable and long term clinical results, the intra and post-operative complications may cause the failure of the whole procedure. Soft tissue management at the time of the flap closure is the fundamental time for having the guaranty of the bone graft covering. Otherwise the membrane exposure may happen and its management it is not simple. For this reason aim of this clinical case letter is to explain the results of the successful treatment of a no resorbable membrane.
